A good day and very hot. The men folks pulled leaves and tied them. This evening Josie and I helped. Thelma helped some two. Thelma went to George Blairs this evening. Julia is here. Carrie come to the barn with the babies. I made some jellie this morning. Josie canned some grape juice this morning. Julia and Edna is on a pallet in my room.

A good day. The men folks cut wheat the most of the day.

Josie washed to night. She has the tooth ache.

This evening I went to Carries. She was boiling dew berries to make some jellie.

Henrys duck eggs hatched to day.

Josie made Edna two little peticoats. I think they are pretty.

Marvin went to Altavista this evening for Murphist Harvey.

A good day. The men plowed tobacco all day. Josie picked two gallons of dew berries this morning and some this evening.

She went to Carries this evening.

I worked some in the garden this evening a bout the most that I have done in the garden this year. Jim has worked it a bout all this year.

Josie boiled some berries to make jellie. Left it to drip to night.

A good day. The men plowed all day. Ben went to the mill mightty a gainst his will.

Josie made jellie & preserves this morning. We had cabbage for dinner the first time this spring.

I went to Johnsons this evening. I went with Lee B

Clifton Reynolds come home this evening on a visit. He is on his way to North Carlina.

A good day and very hot. Ben raked up his hay. Jim and Owen plowed. Josie ironed this morning. Carrie come this evening and brought all the children. Josie & Carrie went after berries. Found the cow in the corn. They got some berries & lots of chickers (dont know how to spell them). Josie made plum jellie this evening. I got up the onions this evening. Henry and Paul helped me put them in the buggy house up stairs.

Mrs Hutcherson started to Richmond this morning. I do hope she may come home a gain.
