Cloudy this morning and some rain. The folks finished cutting tobacco this evening. Josie helped to load and unload the last load.

Josie and I both got dinner.

Paul Bennett went a way from here this evening. Ben carried him. Josie went two.

Kate Harvey was here a few minutes this evening.

Chesley Edmons had a sale to day. Solde every thing that he had. Ben did not go he was so busy with his tobacco.

Ben and Josie has not come home yet.

A rainy day. Jim & Ben worked on Owens house some today. They went to Mr Worshams sale at Renan. They did not buy any thing. Josie and I have spent most of the day mending on the clothes.

Josie went to Carries through the rain. They were all getting on very well up there.

Clifton Reynolds has bin very sick. Heard today that he is improving. I was very glad to hear that. Ben had a letter from John today he was well.

A bad day. There was more snow on the ground than had bin this winter. It is all gone to night.

Josie ironed this evening.

Jim & Ben went to Renan this evening. Mr. Owen & Board Dews went to Mr. Jessie Mays sale. Marvin Smith bought Kate Harvey two pigs to day. He bought them from Robert Starkey. I am so glad that he could get them.

Franklin is sick I am afraid. He is so cross.

Henry did not go to school to day.

A cloudy day. Ben & Jim stripped tobacco all day. Finished a cureing for Jim. Josie and I got dinner.

This evening Josie made starch and starched the clothes. Denia and Cordie Blair come this evening. I was glad that they come.

Marvin solde his last tobacco at Gretna. He was well pleased with the sale. Nat Wooding got two pounds of butter from here this evening.

A good day except early morning. Oscar Brumfield brought his car here for Ben to help him work on it. They worked on it until twelve and after then Oscar carried Henry and Hugh and I to White Falls to fish. The river was very mudy. I caught 3 fish and Oscar caught five. Jim went home. Marvin carried him to Gretna. Henry went with Hugh home to spend the night. There was a sale at Mrs Creasys this evening. None of my folks went.

The bees swarmed. Ben and Josie hived them.
