" Whereupon it appearing that the bid of the Daily and Weekly Post Intelligencer is the lower bid submitted to the Council, It is ordered that the contract for the City printing for said term be awarded to the Daily & Weekly Post Intelligencer and the City Atty directed to draft the necessary contract Bills Allowed Cedar River Coal Co City Fund # $24.50 Ordinances An Ordinance is submitted by the City Atty entitled "An Ordinance to provide for the annual assessment of Property with in the City of Seattle for the purposes of General and Special taxation, and to provide for the levying and executing of the City Revenue of the city of Seattle"; which after due considration is adopted by the following vote: In favor of same R H Calligan, Jacob Furth Geo W Hall, T W Lake, Chas McDonald and G W Young against none. An Ordinance is submitted by the City Atty entitled "An ordinance to prescribe the mode in which the costs and expenses of all Public Improvements which, by the provisions of the the Act of the Legislative Assembly of Washington Territory entitled "An Act to revise and amend the Charter of the City of Seattle" approved February 4, 1886 are to be provided for and paid by Special Assessments upon property shall be apportioned Assessed
