A clear colde day. Ben commenced on a room for Owen to day. Josie went to the store and bough some things for Edna this evening.

The children started to school to day. Miss Sneed came to day to be [scratched out "principle"] at Harmony Grove.

Miss Janie Gravley stopped in here this evening.

Ben and Josie is at the barn working on tobacco to night. Marvin went to Gretna today and solde tobacco for a good price. Ben and Josie and Marvin has just come from the barn.
