A good day. Ben and Owen went to Altavista this morning got home by dinner time.

Josie mended some garments this morning. We got a snack for dinner.

This evening I went to see Mollie. She was making a dress for her self. They had a mighty sick pig. I think it will die.

Mr and Mrs John Smith come to see Marvin and Carrie this evening. They had two of the girls with them.

Josie and Franklin went to Mr Owens this evening.

A rainy day. Ben commenced to cut feed but it rained so that he had to quit.

Josie got dinner. I sewed some, finished two garments. Nearly all has colds. Edna has such a cough that I dont think she will sleep much to night. Jim & Ben and Josie are playing cards to night for pastime. It is raining hard now.

A good day. The men folks cut tobacco.

Marvin brought our flour from the mill.

Mollie Reynols come a few minutes this morning. Johnson went to see Mr Layne this morning.

We got dinner & churned. We all staid at home all day. Josie cut out some garments to mak soon.

I gathered & strung some snaps for tomorrows dinner. Mrs Owen come this evening for milk. She picked up a bucket of apples for us.

A rainy day. The boys at Tims planted tobacco this evening. Lizzie got dinner. Alma sowed. I mended some garments. Lizzies washer woman brought her clothes home this morning.

Tim Bennett has gone to a farmers meeting at the school house to night.

Gordon Bennett come over here today. I have wrote a letter home to night. Hope they may get it soon.

A very warm day for February. The snow is about all gone. Ben & Henry shucked some corne and fed the stalks. This evening they sawed some wood in the woods. Josie killed and dress a chicken & baked a cake. We boiled some meat and stewed fruit for dinner. I washed a few garments & a lot of olde stockings. Ben & Josie milked night and morning. The children played games tonigh. Ben has gone to Strait Stone to meet at the lodge. He went horse back. The mud is so bad.
