A very bad day. Colde and some snow. Ben & Jim & Marvin stripped tobacco some. Henry and Edna went to school.

Josie went to Marvins a few minutes. Josie and Carrie ordered them a musick box a peice. I hope that they may get them ok. I got dinner. I boiled hogs face & feet.

I have tacked a few rags for a rug if I ever get it made.

Today is 56 years a go I was married.

A good day. Snow a bout all gone. Ben & Jim and Marvin stripped tobacco all day. Josie got dinner. She sewed on her quilt this evening. I made two bolster slips and seven pillow slips. I went to Marvins a little while this evening.

Henry and Edna went to school.

A cloudy day and a little rain. Jim & Ben stripped tobacco all day. Josie helped until dinner and I tied this evening. They put all the tobacco in the pit that is to strip.

Henry & Edna went to school.

A clear colde day. Ben & Jim and I stripped tobacco. Josie got dinner. She had a good dinner.

Henry and Edna went to school.

Carrie come a few minutes this evening. While she was here Dave Walker come. He had not bin here in several years. We was all glad to see him but sorry that they had put him off his job.

Marvin is here tonight. They are all in the dineing room talking.

Henry has gone to Marvin to night to stay a while. Floid Reynols and Aubra Brumfield is there to night.

A clear colde day. Ben finished stripping tobacco. Dave Walker went to Chatham. Jim went with him. Marvin carried them to Gretna. Josie got dinner. I washed some this morning. This evening Carrie come and all of the children a little while. I was glad that they come. Charles Harvey come in here a few minutes this evening.

I am so anxious to see all of the children. It keeps so colde that I cant go to see them and they dont come.

Ben got wood and water at the wash house this morning.
