A clear cool day. There was plenty of frost this morning. In some places the land was frozen. Jim & Owen fixed some land for a sweet potato patch. Ben went to Chalk Level this morning for some work that Sam Switz done for him. Worked the balance of the day on Jim Emersons car and did not get it so he could use it. Jim Emerson & Jim Brumfield and Lucius Gravely and Ben has gone to Strait Stone to night.

Josie cooked butter beans and little white beans and baked a cake and fried some fresh fish for dinner. I ironed a few things this morning and mended some this evening.

A beautiful day. No sign of rain. Jim & Marvin moved some tobacco this morning. Ben went to Chalk Level to get some peices sawed to make a roller to roll their wheat land. They worked on the roller all evening and did not finish it. Josie sewed some on a dress for Edna.

I went to Marvins this evening. They are getting on very well there. Tonight Marvin & Ben has gone hunting.

We heard this morning that Mr Taz Wooding died last night. Will be buried tomorrow.
