A good day warm for the time of year. Ben worked on Owens house. I went up to Owens this morning a few minutes.

I boiled the last of our beef today. Josie fried dougnuts. We heard that Kate Harvey is sick. I do hope that she may not be sick long.

Think now that I will go to Danville to morrow with Mollie Reynolds.

Ben and Josie and Miss Janie Gravley has all gone to Cedar Forest tonight to get things for a fruit cake.

A cloudy day but no rain. Ben worked on Owens house. Josie staid at home and worked all day.

Ben carried me to Johnson Reynolds be fore light this morning. I went with them to Danville. We was at Spring Garden be fore it was light good. We saw lots of pretty things. I did not by much. Eat supper at Mollies and enjoyed it. The boys Robert and Floyd got them a bycicle to day.

I am at home to night O K. Miss Janie is here to night. I enjoy having her.

A rainy day. Ben helped dig on Marvins pit.

Josie carried Miss Janie and Henry to school this morning. She said she liked to of froze be fore she got home. Ben went after them this evening. Miss Angle is spending the night here tonight.

Kate Harvey is sick and I am so troubled a bout her think I will go and see her tomorrow if I am well enough.

A cloudy disagreeable day but no rain.

Ben worked on Owens house. Miss Angle and Miss Janie went from here to school this morning.

Josie sewed some. I knit. I got some yarn from Richmond.

Josie went to Carries this evening did not stay long. Heard to day that Kate was feeling some better.

A cloudy day. Ben has bin complaining all day.

Mr Owen and Marvin and William Gilbert killed two hogs for Ben this evening.

Josie got dinner. I cleaned up the smoke house then I took he fat off the intrils and cleaned the feet of the hogs.

Ben carried Miss Janie home and got Mr Jim Emersons tining tools. He wants to cover Owens house soon.

Henry and Edna went to school to day. Floyd Reynolds come by here this evening and got a few eggs. He was on his bycicle. I feel like I know he broke them.
