A good day. Ben & Owen and Jim plowed some to day. Jim helped John Hutcherson thrash wheat this morning and planted him some pink beans this evening after they got up the hay.

Ben worked his water mellons vines late this evening.

Josie ironed & got dinner. I churned and washed a few things this morning. This evening I worked some button holes and mended a few things.

Lucius Gravely come here tonight on his way to the lodge. He had forgot that last Sunday was a fifth Sundy.

A good day. Ben went to the meeting of the school board and a meeting of some sort a gain to night. He has gone to Strait Stone to the meeting of odd fellows. Marvin & Lucius Gravely went with him.

Jim worked all day.

Mr Owen went to the mill.

Josie got dinner. She baked some pies for Sundays dinner.

I went to Marvins this evening. Carrie was finishing up the little girls dresses.

Cloudy but no rain today. They are still on tobacco. To night Jim is at the barn by him self. Ben & Marvin and Lucius Gravely has gone a hunting.

Mrs Hutcherson come to see Josie. I was glad that she come.

Henry Brumfield come to see us today. He eat dinner with us. I was glad that he come. He said that he would start home in the morning.

A good day. Mr. Owen sowed wheat. Jim & Ben went to Chatham. Lucius Graveley went with them.

Josie and I got a snack for dinner.

Henry and I went with Bessie Callan (col) to Mr Stones then went to White Falls. We fished a while. Caught 25 fish.

Edna swept the yard some. I helped her get up the leaves.

Carrie & the children come a while this evening.

Fred Stone brought Bessie home. I paid him a dollar for it.

A clody day and it is raining tonight. Jim is in Chatham. Ben sowed some wheat and oats today. Mr. Owen stripped tobacco today.

Josie got dinner. We picked up the potatoes this morning and Ben hauled them home this evening.

Bessie Callens (col) washed some & ironed. Anna Callens come to see a bout Bess being here. She let her stay.

I had thought that I would start to Richmond in the morning but it is raining so that I doubt it now.

Ben & Henry & Lucious Gravely went hunting tonight. Guess they will get wet.
