On motion of Councilman Hall the City Surveyor is authorized to procure stone Monuments suitably cut and inscribed and place at Government Corners within the City limits at a cost not to exceed $6.00 each. On motion the Council now [proceeds to elect a policeman for Belltown, whereupon the following nominations are made James Burke, A L McCowan, J N E Wolfe, and J Kelley and James Burke having received the highest number of votes is declared elected.
