A good day. Ben and Owen and Paul plowed in peas. Josie got dinner and ironed. I went to White Falls did not catch many fish. Marvin Smith carried Henry and I. Reese plowed while he carried us. We walked as far as Jim Thompsons.

Tonight Ben and Josie went with Paul to the school house.

Denia Blair come to Carries this evening. She brought me some snaps. I am glad of them.

All of the children are a sleep.

A good day. Ben stacked his oats to day and finished plowing corn for him self and Owen. Plowed some in the garden. Josie ironed and got dinner most all of it. I got a new dress. Alma Bennett sent it this evening by mail.

I went to Carries a while and then to Posie Reynolds. I carried Mrs Rice a bonnett that Alma Bennett made the bonnett. Carrie Smith furnished the material and gave it to Mrs Rice. Posie and his mother was gone to Chatham.

I had a letter from Ola (Bennett) Jefferson .

We are having some rain to night and need it two.

A good day. The Hutchersons thrashed wheat here to day. Josie ironed and got the most of dinner. I cant find my glasses to night. Am writing by guess.

Rain today. Ben commenced topping tobacco. Paul come home this morning.

Josie ironed. I got dinner. This evening I went to Marvins. Several of Carries children are complaining. I certainly do hope that they may get well soon.

Kate Harvey was there. Heard today that Gordon Bennett was married Tuesday.

A good day. The men folks topped tobacco. Josie ironed most of the day.

This evening Paul carried Henry and Edna and Reese and I to White Falls to fish. We did not catch many fish. We walked up by Mr Johnsons house. Mrs Johnson was very nice to us. Marvin come after us. Carrie and all the children come with him. We had a pleasant evening.

We got home in good time to milk and feed the hogs. Josie had corn batter bread for supper and we did enjoy it.
