A good day. Ben went to the [morning?] school house this morning. Jim worked on Owens house. Mr. Owen hauled some wood tonight. Jim and Ben went to Strait Stone.

Jose & I ironed some this evening. Kate and Virginia Harvey went to Mr. Edmons and spent the day. Come back by here - I walked with them as far as Marvins. They say that some one stolde some of Tom Edmonds tobacco last night. I wish he could find out the one that did it.

A good day. The men folks finished stripping Owens tobacco this morning. They sawed a little wood this evening. I got dinner. Josie ironed this morning. Josie & Henry went to Strait Stone this evening.

Tonight Isla and Cordie & Frank and George Blair and Jessie and William Hutcherson all come and staid until bedtime. The boys played games. I finished Marys scarf tonight.

A beautiful day.

Ben & Jim and Owen burned a plant bed & sowed it. Ben & Owen hauled some stalks and cut them for feed. Josie and I ironed and got dinner this evening. I went to Marvins a few minutes. Mr Mayhew is here tonight. They are playing cards.

Josie got a letter from her mother this evening telling her that her sister is not getting on well. I guess that she will go to see her soon.

I got a letter from Thelma Brumfield this evening. She seems to be getting on well.

A rainy day. Jim made him a tomato bed. Josie ironed and got dinner.

Ben come home from Danville tonight. He sold tobacco there today. Mayhew carried it on his truck.

Henry went to school today. I went to Carries a while this evening.

Jim hung up the meat this morning.

We heard to day that Willie Brumfield went to Robert Laynes. We thought that he would come to see us but he did not come.

A bad day. There was more snow on the ground than had bin this winter. It is all gone to night.

Josie ironed this evening.

Jim & Ben went to Renan this evening. Mr. Owen & Board Dews went to Mr. Jessie Mays sale. Marvin Smith bought Kate Harvey two pigs to day. He bought them from Robert Starkey. I am so glad that he could get them.

Franklin is sick I am afraid. He is so cross.

Henry did not go to school to day.
