A cloudy day and some rain. Ben and Marvin finished covering the barn. Owen hauled some wood.

Josie got dinner.

Mrs Bailiss and Melvin come while we were at dinner. Mrs Dews and Mrs Owen went to see their sister Mrs Short to day.

Lee Brumfield called here to night and ask Ben to haul him a load of brick. I think he will haul it but he don't like to a bit.

Franklin is better to night.

Rain this morning but none this evening. Ben hauled a load of brick for Lee to day. Franklin is still sick.

I got dinner. Henry went to school.

To night while we were at supper a wasp stung Edna. She thought it most ruined her.

A good day. Ben & Jim and Owen worked on plant beds this evening. Ben sawed wood for Mr Edmonds.

Josie washed. I got dinner - then went after Franklin. He ran a way and went to Carrie's. He eat dinner up there. We all sat in my room tonight. The other fire place had some brick out so they would not make a fire in it.
