1945 31 Days March

1 Th-St. David's Day Windy day
Went to school. Had lessons before
break as usual. Then all VIth forms
went by train to Cambridge with
Miss Saunders to see St. Joan by
G.B Shaw. Enjoyed it very much
came home on 8.10 pm bus.

2 Fri Mummy still in bed so
stayed at home to look after
her. Quite a nice day. Cleaned the
bedrooms and the lounge in the
morning. Bill came in and had a bath
and went with Daddy to see Bruce in afternoon.
Did cooking in afternoon and read in
evening. Washed my hair & Gordon cut it.

3 Sat Bill's day off.
Quite a nice day but windy
Mummy stayed in bed until
dinner. I was very busy all
the morning cooking the dinner and
doing veges. Had a bath in
afternoon. Gordon came in to
write letters. Went for a
Memo walk with Kim and
read Rebecca in evening.
