and chased a great many.
They were very wild. We fastened
to one and darted the spade
through its flukes and the
spade cut off the line.
Saw the Julius Cezear of
New London get two. They have
now 11 whale.

with fresh brezes from West
North West and then North N.
West. Saw severel whales
and chased them several
times. Saw 4 ships.

fresh brezes from North. Saw
severel whales and chased
them. One ship in sight.

whale and chased a number
of them. Struck one and killed
it and cut it in. [Broke the bay.?]
