A NEW LECTURER IN THE FIELD.

MR. EDITOR—Permit to speak, through the medium of your paper, my gratification that another person of promise has entered the field as a speaker in behalf of the down-trodden.

I listened last evening, with great pleasure, to a lecture by Miss Lizzie Holland, of Waverly, TIOGA CO., a young lady fully identified by complexion with the enslaved of this land. She is a pleasant speaker, and gives hope of much usefulness.

Yours, for Humanity,

C.
