Point Lookout MD. Sept. 15th. 64

Dear Father and Mother I am honorably discharged the service of the United States and if nothing happens will be in the city of Rochester the 27th inst. I cant get away from here before Saturday and I will have to be in Washington two or three days to have my papers made out for pay. I will go form Washington to Boston, as I can get transportation free from here there and if I go any other way, I must pay if you wish to write to me write in care of Mrs. Starling near 21. Myrtle St. Boston—love to all Your Aff. Son
