for a month, add unto yt one dram of Camphire, and so use yt
morning and Evening.

Anisseede, and Fenell seede, and sithe all this in water untill yt be very
strong, and then put the water in Bladderes, and ty the mowthes

the sore where the bruse is, if yt be in the eye let them
winke hard, and lett the plaister be laid on the outside
of the eye.

yt fine, then take iij spoonefulles of very Cleane water
and put therto a spoonefull of the powlder and so drinke

Take a greate Bundle of greene henbane Leaues and
Rost them under the imberes, and when they are Rosted,
pound them and draw them throwgh a hearne stromier,
then mingle with them som oyle of Roses or Lay this
powltis to the pained place, and yt shall asswage the swelling
and alay the paine presently.

Take ij. or iij hanfulles of Hemlocke wash them Cleane then
take one ounce of Fenigrick one ounce of anisseeded one ounce
of Fenell seede. 1. ounce of Comine seede. 1. ounce of Coliander
seede, 1. ovnse of parsly seedes. bruse all these together, but the Feny
grick must be brused by yt self, for that is harder then the
Rest, then take all these and put them in to iij quartes of strong
Ale, byle yt till yt be thick like a powltis, then take som of yt
and anoynt the belly, in the morning all on befor the fier as
hott as yow Can suffer yt for the space of a howre, and asmuch
att night. Then when yow goe to bed lay som of the powltis on a
Cloth and lay yt to the Navle as hot as yow Can and Rowle yt fast
to yow vse this morning and Evning till yow go to the stoole once or twyce
then leaue yt and see in no case that yow stopp your Loosnes for if you doo yt
is very dangerowse

a Cloth, and in the morning dip your Cloth in the thinest of yt
Refraine going in the aire for an howre after.

Take knotgras with the Rootes, planten with the Rootes, Commpherie Roote
pomgranett flowres. mastick a Resenable quantitie, Redrose seedes
or the dryed leaues, boyle all in good muskadine and drinke yt
six morninges.

Take a pottell of faire Running water, and put therin as much Camfire
as a frensh Beane, and asmuch whyt Coppras as a little wall nutt, then take ij
Caliminaris stones of a pounde waight apece, & heate them very hott
in the fier one after the other, and so quench the in ix. or y. times
in the water with the other thinges. after straine yt and Reserv yt
for your vse, when yow neede therof dropp it in to the eye with a clean
Fether and ly on your back for a tyme.
