JOHN B. HAWLEY, Consulting Engineer Member American Society Civil Engineers, Member Engineering Association of the South, City Engineer, Fort Worth

Fort Worth, Texas, Aug. 18th, 1905

Hon. The Mayor and City Council, City,

Gentlemen:

We your Street and Alley Committee and City Engineer, to whom was referred the attached petition of Lightfoot, Coffee et al, asking that the City open Tennessee Ave. thro the Wright tract, next to Terrell Ave., have the honor to report:

That we find there to be considerable necessity for such Street opening, but that finances are such as to render the work not practicable at this time.

We therefore recommend that action be deferred till after Jan. 1st, 1906.

Respectfully, Waggoman, Ward, Zurn.

Committee.

John B. Hawley City Engineer.
