To the Honorable Mayor and City Council of the City of Fort Worth.

Gentlemen:

I have been repeatedly spoken to by property owners with
reference to the opening of the narrow street in the Edwards heirs
addition,which matter was referred to me sometime since and I was
directed to take proper steps to open the same. I have done all that
I can, and everybody having obstructions in the street is perfectly
willing for the street to be opened, and the City Engineer has set
stakes so that fences can be moved back. If the property owners do
not move fences, I can see nothing to be done except to order the
Street Commissioner to do it.

Not being able to see any reason for further action upon
my part, I report the matter to the Council for further instructions.
