To the Hon. Mayor and Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth:

We, the undersigned citizens of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, here-
by petition your Hon. Body to modify ordinance No. 39 of the City of
Fort Worth affecting peanut, popcorn, and candy vendors so that said
ordinance will license peanut, popcorn, and candy vendors upon pay-
ing a reasonable yearly occupation tax to establish peanut, popcorn,
and candy stands upon the streets of Fort Worth wherever they may be
so permitted by persons owning or controlling property abutting on
said street or streets.
