ORDER OF BOARD OF COMMIS-
SIONERS CONCERNING THE
PAVEMENT OF THE COURT
HOUSE SQUARE IN ACCORD-
ANCE WITH ORDER HERETO-
FORE MADE BY THE BOARD
OF COMMISSIONERS.

And now at this time coming on
for further consideration by the
board of commissioners the mat-
ter of paving the court house
square in accordance with the
proposition of the property own-
ers as heretofore presented and ac-
cepted as shown by order made Sept.
3, 1907 as appears on pages 531-532
of the minutes of the proceedings of
this board, and appearing that no
protest or objection to said order or
to the construction of said pavement
has been filed, and it further appear-
ing that publication of said order was
duly made in the official newspaper
of the city, towit, The Fort Worth
Star, once a day for ten days, as pro-
vided by ordinance; and upon further
consideration of the necessity for said
paving and the advantage to the abut-
ting property owners in constructing
the pavement as mentioned in said or-
der of Sept. 3, and it appearing to the
board of commissioners that said
pavement will enhance the price of
and increase the value of the property
abutting on said street in a sum great-
er than the cost of said pavement, and
that such increase of value and price
will be made hereby on each piece,
lot and parcel of abutting prop-
erty respectfully: It is therefore
hereby ordered that the parties own-
ing property abutting on said street,
and especially those who did not join
in the said proposition construct said
pavement of the material and in the
manner mentioned and referred to in
said order, or cause the same to be
done in front of their respective prop-
erties within 90 days from the date of
this order and that this order be pub-
lished in the official newspaper of the
city, towit, the Fort Worth Star,
once a week for four consecutive
weeks and further order that if any
one owning property abutting on said
street fail to comply with this order
that the said pavement be constructed
as in such cases made and provided
and the costs thereof assessed against
the abutting property and against the
owner of the property as a personal
debt, as provided by charter and ordi-
nance of the city of Fort Worth.

I hereby certify that the foregoing
order was duly presented and unani-
mously passed by the board of com-
missioners of the city of Fort Worth,
at a session held Nov. 5, 1907.
