ORDER OF BOARD OF COMMISSION-
ERS CONCERNING THE PAVEMENT OF
EL PASO, THIRD, FOURTH, TENTH
AND ELEVENTH STREETS IN ACCORD-
ANCE WITH ORDER HERETOFORE
MADE BY THE BOARD OF COMMIS-
SIONERS.

And now at this time coming on for fur-
ther consideration by the board of com-
missioners the matter of paving El Paso,
Third, Fourth, Tenth and Eleventh street,
in accordance with the proposition of the
property owners as heretofore presented
and accepted as shown by order made Aug. 27,
1907 as appears on pages 525-526 of the min-
utes of the proceedings of this board, and it
appearing that no protest or objection to said
order or to the construction of said pave-
ment has been filed, and it further appearing
that publication of said order was duly made
in the official newspaper of the city, to-
wit, The Fort Worth Star, once a day for
ten days, as provided by ordinance; and upon
further consideration of the necessity for said
paving and the advantage to the abutting
property owners in constructing the pavement
as mentioned in said order of Aug. 27, 1907,
and it appearing to the board of commissioners
that said pavement will enhance the price
of and increase the value of the property
abutting on said street in a sum greater than
the cost of said pavement, and that such in-
crease of value and price will be made hereby
on each piece, lot and parcel of abutting
property respectively: It is therefore ordered
that the parties owning property abutting
on said street, and especially those who did
not join in the said proposition, construct
said pavement of the material and in the
manner mentioned and referred to in said
order, or cause the same to be done in front
of their respective properties within ninety
days from the date of this order and that
this order be published in the official news-
paper of the city, towit: The Fort Worth
Star, once a week for four consecutive weeks,
and further order that if anyone owning
property abutting on said street fail to com-
ply with this order that the said pavement
be constructed as in such cases made and
provided and the costs thereof assessed against
the abutting property and against the owner
of the property as a personal debt, as pro-
vided by charter and ordinance of the city
of Fort Worth.

I hereby certify that the foregoing order
was duly presented and unanimously passed
by the board of commissioners of the city of
Fort Worth at a session held Nov. 5, 1907.

that the said pavement be constructed as in such cases made and
provided and the costs thereof assessed against the abutting
property and against the owner of the property as a personal debt,
as provided by Charter and ordinance of the City of Fort Worth.
