The State of Texas Coutny of Rusk } Before me the undersigned
Authority this day personally appeared M. H.
Wadsworth and Webster Flanagan both to me
well known and often being only sworn
on oath says that Norman N. Branch
has lived upon and cultivated the Land
described in the within field notes for
the space of three years and that he has
done and performed all the requirements
of an act passed Jan 22nd A. D. 1845 and
an Amendatory act passed Feb. 10th A. D.
1852 granting pre-empticis privileges
to settlers upon the public vacant domain
[illegible] to & subscribed before me.
