how small it is, it goes to show what a
good old soul she was and how much
she thought of her own. We were
looking for her up to see us this fall.
I didn't even know that she was sick
until we heard of her death.

Sunday was my day off and I had
planned on taking company out
for a nice ride but it, (poured), pord rain all
day and night and spoiled our plans.
So in the evening, I took all hands
over to Aunt L.C.'s for supper and spent
evening there and met Homer Hartsonger
and his wife there & we all had a nice
visit together. Homer is going to school
here & his wife came up to see us before
she goes back. We are all well, but
Mother L, and she is bothered with her
old trouble again. B. T. Stanley and wife
spent last winter in Whittier, [bal?], and bought
a place there and are going back sometime
but don't know when. He had an auto
there and took all his friends around and
would of been glad to seen you and taken you
for a ride too. Write soon. Archie.
