Dear love ones at home Got your most kind and loving letter last night and was glad to hear from you and to hear you were all well. Have been working hard today, putting up rafters on a two-story house.

Yes, I like it here pretty well but would like it better if you all we here too.

2) You can't imagine how lonesome it is here for me. When it comes night, no little girls for me to scold, but I guess you are glad that I'm away so you don't hear me scold.

I don't see any little folks here, all men folks only when some weman come here to look for property.

The old gentleman that I rooming with is building a gar[a]ge. Is going to build a house to but his wife is in New York now and won't be

3) here till fall so he thinks he will rent his house when he gets it built, as he is going east in May or June to bring his wife back here.

Just as soon as he gets his auto house built, we are going to move as it is a city lot and it won't be only about 2 or 3 blocks from Seebie Center. I only half to go about two blocks to work now so you see it is not so bad. I wish I could see you all this very minute.

It has been a very nice day today. In fact, it has not rained so but what we have worled all week, so far. I worked Sunday all day. It was a nice day. I had the blues Sunday morning, so I thought I would feel better if I worked.

Don't forget to write and get that money from Keller.

5) Sunday, I think I will try and go out and see our place if I don't halt to work. Well girls, will you forgive me if I don't write to you septerley(?)? I guess you all can read this part of it, anyway. Well, it is getting cold and late so will ring off and try and do better next time.
