My dear: Your long looked for letter was received today and read with pleasure. I had looked for you on a letter and would have been delighted to have seen you but, the journey is too great for you until you get stronger. I am so glad you have a home and husband of your own and never think of selling it, unless compelled to. Even though you are not able to keep it in order, be patient, eat and sleep all you...(?)

Please adress me by my own initials E. A. as Mrs., [Lew Cervsir ?], opens my mail as her husb.'s initials are the same as his father's.

possibly can. I fear you will have to sleep the sleep of Rip Van Winkle in order that you make make up for the lost sleep and over taxing of your strength, for the past 13 years or more. The only wonder to me is you have kept up as long as you have. You never tryed (tried) to save yourself in the least. You would not even sit down when you could stand up and would laugh at me for telling you of these things. I have suffered in the same way, (and I am suffering still,) for 20 years, (now?) but can endure more, now, because I am stronger.

Have Mr. G rub you all over every night. Take raw eggs and milk and rest all you can. Don't try to do sewing. Buy everyhing ready made. Accept all the pay your uncle and aunt offer you. It was not necessary for Wilber and [Gratie ?] to go to you and impose and expose upon you, but by so doing, you gave aunt and uncle great relief, and expense so take all you can get of them for it. They were kind to us but, we have done much for them since. I worked there two months or more and was not able to do it either, and received little or nothing for it, and you should feel under no obligations to them. It is an insult to me

G. and you cannot afford it. And I presume they do not expect you to do all this gratis. If they have not much left, you are not responsible for, [underlined: that], nor do they need a great deal as their journey is nearly ended, etc., etc. Their son and wife was never any comfort to them anyway and they are better off without him. I do hope you did not let Eratie know that Katie and you did not live agreeable, for she is a notorious tatler. I have received several letters and one card from Katie since she has gone to Oregon and must answer today, her last. She sent us a flag representing the five Pacific states. In her last letter, she likes the climate and city and receives good pay for her labor and that is a great inducement for her. So we will hope it is all for

the best that she is there. I sent her a pair of hose and a collar and cuff set, for Easter and maple sweets. They seemed to please her very much. I have not answered Jenny's last. They were living at No. 123 Huntington St., Cleveland when she wrote last. I have her birthday presents all ready for mailing. I am sending a stocking bag and a big apron like I sent you only not so large and other things too. I am still miserable with my eczema. Nothing does me much good. I am now trying "Doans" ointment which gives some relief. Mr. Cervsier has begun work
