Our cards just started to come out today,
(each teacher makes out a separate one for you).
I got my English grade which was "I."
"Ain't Nature Grand." We're reading "Henry
Esmond" now, are you? We've already had
the "Spectator" &" Sir Roger de Coverly Papers."

Our biology is no such snap as yours.
We've had to dissect & draw the grasshopper,
then whole body, each leg, each wing, antennae,
eyes, mouth parts, mandibles, maxillae, etc.,
head, thorax & abdomen and then cut him
open and draw his "innards" as they lie, some
work. We took the bee, likewise, which was
still worse and now we've spent the last
month, 4 wks of 4 periods each, on the crayfish.
