Escondido Oct. 26th, 1911.

Mr. G.W. Grandy

Dear Sir:

I received your card inquiring about the Hasse Ranch yesterday, and, in reply, would say that the place consists of 120 acres, 2 1/2 miles southwest of Escondido. There are no farming implements going with the place. It is a part of the Hasse Estate for which I am administrator. and would have to be rented subject to sale. About 1/2 of the land could be farmed. It is not alfalfa land being too high up. A small amount might be grown by irrigation. There is an orchard of about 7 acres, chicken yard fencing
