Friday, I had to help entertain one while waiting for mama to get through. Oh dear, I wanted to sew, but not a stitch. I was very nervous and tired when I got home, Sunday, but I enjoyed the day very much, indeed. I think I got nervous over Mr. C. telephoning in the morning, but haven't heard a word since.

My, the ride into town was fine. The country is certainly beautiful. We went downtown to see the "Fashion Show" yesterday. Every thing was beautiful, but too much gawdy stuff for ordinary folks.
