Dear Mrs Grandy:
I tried all week to write you a (line?) but it seemed like everybody was here. Thursday, we had company all day, then extra for supper and evening. Of course, mama had her work everyday and

Friday, I had to help entertain one while waiting for mama to get through. Oh dear, I wanted to sew, but not a stitch. I was very nervous and tired when I got home, Sunday, but I enjoyed the day very much, indeed. I think I got nervous over Mr. C. telephoning in the morning, but haven't heard a word since.
My, the ride into town was fine. The country is certainly beautiful. We went downtown to see the "Fashion Show" yesterday. Every thing was beautiful, but too much gawdy stuff for ordinary folks.
I have thought of you all week and sent you the best thoughts I could for I know you need them. I can not help physically but I can send mental thoughts that will help. I know you do not understand me in some of these things, but that does

not make any difference. So I am going to ask you to send me your thoughts for a half hour during the day, if it when you go to bed. Just try and concentrate your mind on me during that time. Now, do not make it hard work and, if other things or thoughts come into your mind, just think of me in the next thought you have. I want to see if I can give you strength. I can not tell just how and I

think you need help. You certainly are a brave girl with four tots doing what you are, for I can see an inch beyond my nose.
[?] I suppose you will think this a strange letter, but no, it is one of sympathy, but it is hard for me to express my thoughts.
I suppose you found the pictures. I forgot them. Some time, I will get

them when I come down. I am sorry GA has more cold. The youngsters have cold, but it is from their system being out of order, but they are not bad.
