them by this opportunity, and am now to acquaint you that I
can by no means take them to my own account, I have to desire
you will please to Credit my account for their Cost & all Charges
thereon, I have paid the duties here and chargd the same to
your account, and the Trunk of Silks remain in my Store on
your account & risque & wait your orders respecting them they
will never Sell here._____

I have long ago advanced Cash for this Cargo of oyl, & as
soon as the price is fixed must pay the whole that I have been
under the necessity of drawing some Bills, on you account of
which you have at Bottom all which you will please to {honor}
and charge to my account, I by no means desire neither
would I chuse that you should be in advance for me, if it
should at any time happen so, I am freely willing to make you
Satisfaction by Interest or any other way more agreeable to you
I shall be constantly remitting tho' at present I apprehend
I have not overdrawn, at least I did not intend it but
without I can have my accounts it is impossible I can know
the Exact State of them.____

I cannot determine when Scott will sail, as oyl is very
Scarce, & numbers of purchasers but if to be got I shall soon have
it up and will give him all the dispatch in my power. I shall
be better able to inform you in my next, but hope it will not be
long before she sails I have a parcell of Pottashes on board her
and want to get it home as soon as possible tho' wish you may
be able to get a Markett therefor.
