I embrace this Opportunity {per}
{Captain} Thompson of informing you, that according to your
Order, having had no opportunity, of disposing of the salt
I had housed, have delivered the same together with the
Fish, and the Pork left with me to said Thompson who
will sail Tomorrow for New Heaven, & have Inclosed
your Acco't: Sales, of what I have disposed off, for you,
that you may make up acco'ts with the Owners together
with the Charges attending the Same, & if Possible
by this Opportunity will froward you your acco'ts
Curr'tt: which is nigh ballanced. I have paid Gerrish
& Barrell their {Ballance} £1453=10=6 & if any man would
give me 40 {per} {Cent} to be concern'd with them again --
would not Accep't it, by their Continuall [?unning], been
oblidged to pay them, tho you have not received whole of
the money. yet, you will find, I have Charged you, the
Common Allowance for receiv'g: & paying : 5 {per} {Cent} &
Think I have well Carr'y it, I Think I can say had
it been my own Affair could not Take more Pains
Inclosed you have likewise Bill Lading for Two
B[aal?] Goods on Board Sloop Molly: David Hum
pra, Vile [David Humpravile]Master, to be delivered you at New
Haven, & a Case & Sundry Casks for {Thomas} Darling
which you will acquaint him of my Sloop {Captain}
Band is now come in, if you want any Silks
or Fruit the Times, now are bad, Provissions of all
sorts must greatly fall, as they will be send
ing from all Parts. please to write me the first
Opportunity & am
