Description
Arisaema triphyllum is a herbaceous perennial in the arum family Araceae that grows from a corm. It contains oxalic acid which is toxic if eaten raw. A preparation of the root was reportedly used by Native Americans as a treatment for sore eyes. Aka jack-in-the-pulpit, bog onion, brown dragon, Indian turnip.
