10thly. A uniformity of charges ought to be
observed by the members of this society;
it shall therefore be among the first
resolves of this society to establish
certain fees for particular services:
under which it shall be deemed infa-
mous to practise. Nevertheless if any
gentleman of the society, eminent in
the profession, shall think the esta-
blished fees are not adequate to his
services; it shall be lawful for him so
far to exceed the established fees as he
may think reasonable. And to prevent
any evasion of the intent of this article
each member shall particularize in his
