Symptoms
Was Seized about 4 days ago with violent
fever wch came on about 7 o clock wth Shivering
ch like an Ague wch (as he says) continued
till next morng. in this state somebody
gave him spices whch as he says prevented him
all Saturday & Sunday which relivd him some
but was more relieved Sunday by an inflamation
attended wth swellng in his Leggs.
This inflamn, is too general to be called Rhle
encepelous that Seizes the Substance of parts
This only diminish'd his fever a little, for
now his tongue is coverd wth mucus, great
pain in his head & back, & has not sleept
thus 3 days.
