at that time when Mr Longworth of Southhold came to Easthampton to fetch the Indians up the Island in the evening some of the Indians came to my hous and told me they was a going up to York the governor sent for them and the Indians told me that they told Longworth that they had a friend that they must inform and I told them that they should fetch Longworth to my hous or fetch the writing that I might see it and so one of the Indians called hanable went presently and fetcht me Longworth and so when Mr Longworth come I told him that the Indians sayd that the governor had sent for them by you him: and I had a mind that my son should read the writing: and [he?] said my son might read the writing and gave it to him my son to read and the said Long worth sayd that the governors hand was not to the letter for he was not upon the Island but he sayd it was all one for this Kephandom was the next to the governor and that he was the cheef in the counsell and also he sayd that the governor would come and meet the Indians upon the backside of Hemsted Plaine and then the Indians should tell him ther greivenses so that they should be righted: and also the said Longworth tould me that I would be righted without any charge upon free cost and likwise the said Longworth told us that Kipphandam was a greate man with the governor for he had lent him two thousand pounds and ther for you may think he is no small man with the governor. This abovesayd is the truth as witnes my hand this 20 day of May 1703

The thirdth day of May 1703 Samuell parsons within named came before Mee Josiah Hobart one of her Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of Suffolke upon the Island of Nassau & made oath to the truth of what is within written attest
