I beg leave to present to you the inclosed Copy of a Vote of the Corporation with which the Overseers have concurrd, praying that you would appoint a Time when you will be ready for the Committee to wait on you & receive your Accounts, & favor us with the Information.

At a Meeting of the President & Fellows of {Harvard} College {October} 20th 1778
Vote - The {Committee} appointed some time since to settle the Treasury Accounts of the late Treasurer Hancock, not having accomplished the Business, & the late {Doctor} Eliot, one of the Committee being deceased - Voted - That the President & Treasurer be a {Committee}, to join with such as the {Honorable} & {Reverend} Board of Overseers shall appoint for that purpose.

In Consequence of the above Vote, the {Honorable} & {Reverend} Board of Overseers have appointed {General} Ward, {Mister} Dana, and {Mister} Austin, to join with the fore above mentioned {Committee} of the Corporation.
