To the {Honorable} and {Reverend} The Corporation for Harvard Colledge, &c:

The Remonstrance of the Indians of Natick ---- Humbly Sheweth

That whereas Your Selves, in conjunction with the commissioners of ye Corporation for propagating the Gospel in New England and parts Adjacent in americas, have been pleased to Interpose in our destitute and broken State, and have Sent Mr Stephen Badger to us; who having preached Sundry Sabbaths to good acceptance in General; and we, being well united in the choice of him for our pastor, if he will accept, We therefore Desire you {Honored} & {Reverend} Sirs in conjunction with ye above [?] corporation, to give Mr Badger an Invitation, to take us under his Pastorall care; And if he shall not So meet to accept of ye Invitatio we desire to hear another Gentleman, as Soon as may be; And your Humble Remonstrants as in Duty Bound, Shall Ever Pray,
