Not dareing to wait on you myself, for fear of the small-pox; These are to desire you to pay the contents of the note, from ye {Reverend} Mr. President sent herewith, unto ye bearer hereof Mr. Williams {Reverend} By which you will greatly oblige your most humble & obedient servant

The Corporation at their meeting {April} 4th 1721. voted for the {Encouragement} of {Sir} Peabody to reside at Natick [?] the moiety of fourty five pounds {sterling} with {current} {exchange} {should} be payd by quarterly {payments} to him, he having attended the service expected from him three quarters of the Year from June last when the allowance was to Commence. These are to desire you to pay to the said {Sir} Peabody three Quarters of the moyety of forty five pounds {sterling} {with} the {current} {exchange} out of the Donation of the [{honorable}?] {Robert} Boyle {Esquire} and place it to the College acc.
