At a Meeting of the Commissioners for the Indian Affairs, at the Council Chamber in Boston November, 9. 1722. / Present Edward Bromfield {Esquire}, Penn Townsend {Esquire}, Simeon Stoddard {Esquire}, Dr. Cotton Mather &c.

The Committee of the Commissioners Reporting what had been agreed upon by them, with the {Committee} of the President & Fellows the Corporation of Harvard College; Viz. that Forty pounds {per} annum be given to Mr. Oliver Peabody for his constant Labours in Gospellizing the Aborigines at Natick; and that Fifty pounds be Likewise paid by the {Commissioners} for his Settlement there:

The President & Fellows agreeing to pay also towards the {said} Peabody's Support, Forty pounds {per} {annum}, and Fifty pounds towards his Settlement. Provided the said Oliver Peabody settle, and continue in the Work of the Ministry at Natick: // Ordered that this Report be Accepted & Confirmed. A true Copy of the Original
