Status: Needs Review

The committee appointed by the {Reverend} and
{Honorable} Corporation to examine the [Steward's?] accounts,
in order to adjust the price of [commons?], beg leave
farther to represent.

That by the uninterupted rise of the rise of the prices of
all kinds of provisions, the Steward, as he alledges,
has been prevented paying into the treasury the
several sums [assessed?] the year past on the
Scholars for the benefit of the instructors, which
sums have been expended for the sole benefits
of the students; by which means the several
instructors have been deprived of that [relief?]
which was designed them by the legislative
government of the College;

They would therefore humbly submit it
to the consideration of the {Reverend} and {Honorable} Cor
poration: Whether there ought not to be
a general revision of all collegiate expen-
ces and assessments the year past, and
such additional assessments made, as may
enable the Corporation to grant such
relief
