Oyster Pie.

Make a crust by working flour into mashed boiled po-
tatoes with a little butter and salt. Line a deep dish
with it; invert a small cup in the middle to hold up
the upper crust. Cut the oysters in with pepper, salt,
butter and spice, dredge in some flour. Cover with crust,
make a slit or two on top, and bake an hour.
