Dr. & Miss Laura Klapp lunched with us.
I went to the Latin Play again with
them in the P.M. on their invitation. That
makes 5 times, and I have enjoyed each
time more than the time before.
Herbarium work in the evening.
My extras of my article on the
Glass Models have come. The article
makes some 4 1/2 pages in the Gazette.

Took some copies of my article to Dr. Goodale.
He expresses himself as much pleased
and he is going to send a copy to Mrs. Ware,
The Nation, Pres Eliot, the Blaschkas &c.
Herbarium work to-day. Roads muddy from
recent rain. Eggelston express much
pleasure at my plants. Knowlton has
returned to Washington. Spent some time
this A.M. with Will Dodge looking at
some plants he has been getting at the
Glacialis and growing in dishes. Some of
the young seedlings are puzzling.
