Dear Miss Van Waters:

I am writing this
letter in hopes that you can help
me with a problem I have, I've been
an inmate here at Walpole since
May of this year at that time I
was sentenced to a term of 5-6
years. A girl was involved in this
incident with me which involved
breaking and entering and narcotics.
She was sentenced to an indefinite
term in M. C. I. Framingham. This
girl and I had been going together
for some time and planned to be
married. Since our incarceration
we have not been able to correspond
with each other, also my family
is not allowed to write her
either. There is no way I can
