Dear Russell:

This is not an answer to your recent nice
letter - that will come from Dr. Van Waters. She asked
me however, to tell you that she heard from your sister
Mary Belle, and was glad to have her letter. Mary Belle
says you hardly recognized her she has grown up so much
since you last saw her.

We wrote to Columbia about a correspondence
course for you. It seems that they have discontinued their
home study department, but kindly referred us to some
other places where we could secure material for such
courses. These are Indiana University and the
University of Chicago. Do you wish us to contact these
places? If so, we will be glad to do so.

I hope your health continues to be good, and
that you are as active and cooperative as possible.
