HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Year in, year out, day after day
The dear old world
rolls on its way
Yet may this Birthday
bring to you,
Great happiness
that's fresh and new.

Dear Doctor;
Your good letter of the 28th came tonight along with a card from Miss Rice
She may visit me next Saturday. I shall be glad to see her.

I am waiting on our visit next month as you do not care, I suggest
we use the regular waiting room. I think will have a better and longer visit.

Of course I am interested in your cook. She prepares all the good things to eat!

Did you receive my letter of Sept. 17? You did not speak of it in your letter
and that cause me to think you did not get it. By the way, Miss Rice said
she is coming back on a sleeper and this time would know what the paper bag is for.

Here is an amazing bit of news for you. You remember our old friend,
"Mr." F. D. Yamberk? Well, he turned out to be a woman! I just found our-not
from her tho. A friend of hers told a friend of mine etc. This, however, makes no
difference to me as she is the one who called quits. No wonder she did not
approve the name Floyd.
