My dear Mrs. Wells:

Thank you very much
for your letter of January 13th concerning
plans for your daughter, Barbara.

I appreciate your
anxiety for your daughter's welfare. I can
only say that she appears to be making progress.
Whatever is done is guided by the advice of
the physician Dr. I. Paley Rak, and by that of
the Parole Board. If you have any suggestions
as to a better plan I would suggest that you
take them up with Mr. Lurie, Chairman of the
Board of Parole.
