Dear Dr. Van Waters:

I received your lovely
letter and it gave me a
great deal of pleasure to
read and re-read it I
feel fine now and hope
you and your family are
also well.

I have not made
any plans for a vacation,
as the word is usually de-
fined, as I cannot afford
such a luxury. The only
thing I do know is that
if I haven't moved from
here by then, I will do
so then. The rent is too
high for one person. I
want a place where I can
have a stove + ice-box,
and a real bed. I started
a savings account today.

P.S I got a $20. tip last week! Once in a life-time!
