PAROLE BOARD
MEMORANDUM

Date Sept. 16, 1943
To: Miss Kelley

Name

Institution No.

I would be very glad for you to
continue as Parole Visitor for
Barbara Brown, knowing that Barbara
has a great deal of confidence in
you, but I feel very strongly that
Barbara should be seen once a month.

If it is not possible for you to
get to Boston once a month, perhaps
you can arrange for Barbara to come
to Framingham to see you. I am
sure it is quite risky in this case
to allow this parolee to go (four
months) with no personal interview,
advice or assistance.

If you think these requirements are
more than you can meet with your
other responsibilities, let me know.
Otherwise I will assume you can
comply and that I will receive a
monthly report from you.

F. E. Bode

P.S. . I have today written to Barbara
inviting her to come to the State
House on Monday morning so that we
can get caught up on her situation
to date.
