Dear Miss Kelley: Got your letter O. K. at last. I am still with Mrs. Grandshaw at 203 Cadwell Road and guess I will stay here rather than live with Mrs. [Demming?] of Oakhurst Ave - not Elmhurst as you had on your letter. That is why it was returned as if you had sent it there she would have brought it here. I'm looking forward to seeing you the 17th. I will stay home from work in order not to miss you. Mrs Grandshaw will not be here as she works from 9-5 so I will be alone. In case the

young married girl up stairs comes down - you are a friend of my mother's - rather nosey one too! Tell Mr. Keefe to take West Housatonic {Street} out of Pittsfield until he comes to Roberts' Garage which is unoccupied he can park in front of there. -2Well I am still at the same job and as I told you plan to stay here until after I am free. By then school will be out and Mrs. Grandshaw plans to send the children to camp and she + I plan to go to Springfield to work [or?] around there some-where as the opportinities are so much better than in Pittsfield. Then if we are not satisfied by the

I saw [Tabey?] last week-end. She sure looks swell and has a grand job. She invited Mrs. Grandshaw + I down for the weekend and we had a grand time. We went to Mountain Park in Holyoke. It is sort of a Coney Island in the

-4mountains, only very clean and the scenery is swell. We took pictures at Paradise Pond Northampton which is about 3 min. from Tobey's house. A deaf boy took them and he is very talented. Even I look good in them. I will send you one as soon as he makes extra copies. I'm running out of space here, and news also, so will close for the present. Please write soon - you promised you would.
